Russ is co-owner of "The Dragon's Eye Haunted Barn" and
hus band
to The Dragon Lady (above). He is usually found
in the ticket booth but sometimes ventures outside to help with
maintenance when things start to fall down. He is also called upon
when our guests get a wee bit out of hand.
Russ is a third degree black belt, at one time owned three taekwondo
schools, still holds the record for breaking the most boards with his
bare hands in 8 hours, was voted taekwondo instructor of the year, and
was rated third in the WORLD in open free sparring competition back in
the 80's. Although he doesn't
practice the art anymore, Russ is a scary looking fellow ...... even
without a mask!! Needless to say -- we don't
have a whole lot of trouble out here at the haunted barn when Russ is
around. |

Lady". She graduated from Kingman High School in Arizona a
year early and moved back to Iowa to pursue her education and nursing
career. She currently lives in Hampton and is
working at Sears and WalMart in Mason City while still attending school
online. Her hobbies include riding horses, dancing,
playing drums, and drum line. Dani plays a number of roles including head photographer for our
website. Many of the shots you see on our photo pages were taken
by her in our dark hallways!! |

has been with us two years now and he does a FANTASTIC job! He

been dubbed the "Pee-Nut" Butter Demon. When he's not making
people pee their pants, Chris enjoys RC racing, drawing, and
photography. He is from Iowa Falls and is currently taking firefighting courses at Ellsworth
College. It's nice to know that Chris can scare
you to death .... then revive you all in the same night!!

is 20 and is from Newton. She goes to school at Ellsworth and is
studying Biotechnology. Sam works at the Ellsworth pool as a lifeguard
and is also employed at the school as an RA. Her hobbies include
hanging out with friends, swimming, horseback riding, and babysitting her
nephew. Sam would like to give a big thank you to Justin who got her
started scaring people last year --- she had a blast! Also thanks to
Justin, Terry, Ben, and Chris for making the trips up to the barn
unforgettable! This was Sam's second year in the haunted barn
and we're hoping to see her back in the future!!

Steve has been a HUGE help building this year and last.
You may have seen him in the concession stand in 2006 but he has

during building and was very helpful climbing up into the rafters when

named Emily at home and a few goldfish.
She also enjoys crafts and scrapbooking!

and watching TV -- especially South Park (his favorite show!).
He also does a lot of fishing and hunting -- deer, pheasant,
squirrel, rabbit ..... you name it -- he hunts it!

spare time she enjoys quilting, shopping, and feeding her cats hot dogs.
You may have encountered this scary lady either in the devil room or in
the Jason room.
She gets her name by singing all the good old time nursery rhymes and
belting out witty comments freaking out the people walking through the barn
...... and sometimes she even freaks out the other monsters!!

new people. Terry really enjoys volunteering for things.
He's worked on a farm with his best friend, Cory Jackson, and he
loves anything that involves real work that makes him sweat.

included in all their plays plus 1 college play.

Moines, Minneapolis, and Kansas City to name a few.
You will definitely see her at the Iowa State Fair riding her Arabian
gelding or her Morgan mare in the Society show. 2005 was Erin's first year as an actor in the haunted barn.

James (Tyke) Clavin |

Tyke is a Junior at South Hamilton High School and is a
star on the school's track team. He's gone to State for
Cross Country since he was a freshman. Tyke
was all over the haunted barn in 2005. He's from
Jewell and goes to the South Hamilton High School.
You may have encountered him jumping out of the porta potties at you or
remember him chasing you outside in the line-up or in the field!!
He is seriously --- "The Boogie Man".

Ben
is a Student at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, and is
majoring in Psychology to become a high school counselor. In his free
time he enjoys being with friends and playing his PS2. He
also enjoys getting together with a group of people to play poker --
mainly Hold 'Em and Omaha. Ben volunteers at the Nursing Home by
playing Bingo with the residents and is also very involved with his
church. You may see him performing in local plays and
Musicals. He uses his acting talent to make people
laugh and also likes scaring them at the same time!

Morgan is such a little trooper, she STILL showed up for opening night
and got made up as a creepy dead girl and sat in her wheelchair at the
entrance. This little girl really knows how to
scare people! Watch out for her!!
Nichole is
from Hampton and besides scaring innocent people she enjoys dance, band,
and hanging out with friends. This is Nichole's second year inside
the haunted barn. She was a little timid at first but
now she's got the hang of scaring people so watch out for her!
