| 2008 Theme: THE DRAGONS TAKE A HOLIDAY |

| All the
dreaded monsters of The Dragon's Eye Haunted Barn met at Godfathers in
Hampton on March 8th for the annual "Pre-planning Pizza Party".
We had 37 evil souls show up for food and fun.
You may recognize a bunch of them in the pictures below as some of your
favorite characters in the 2007 Haunted Barn. We also
want to thank some of the outside haunt groups that came in for the night to
help us brainstorm -- thanks to FRONT YARD FRIGHT
guys .... the HORRID HOLLOW gang .... and
PUMPKIN MAN PRODUCTIONS who drove all the way
from Owatonna to be with us.
We gave out a bunch of door prizes to those in attendance including a huge stuffed spider, Dragon's Eye T-Shirts, masks, lots of huge suckers, little talking zombies, and many, many more special Halloween items. Kelly made up a video showcasing the 2007 season with candid shots of all the actors mixed with a lot of video clips that Zach took of our victims walking through the barn of terror. We all ate pizza .....and more pizza ..... and more pizza! The group watched DVDs of the Haunt X Awards on the tv in the corner that was a compilation of different haunts across the United States to give us more ideas for this year. Then the brainstorming commenced when Kelly shined the new map of the 2008 maze up on the wall for all to see -- the theme for 2008 -- THE DRAGON'S TAKE A HOLIDAY. Again, everyone came up with super ideas for scaring all of you in different ways this year all revolving around the "Holiday" theme including having an evil Easter Bunny .... mischievous leprechauns ..... psychopathic elves who turn on Santa .... a 4th of July Fright you won't soon forget ...the bloodiest Happy Birthday celebration you've ever seen ..... and a tooth fairy that'll surely make you wet your pants !! Don't worry ... we haven't given away ALL the secrets ... come see us this Halloween season and see what other Holidays the Dragons will be taking over! |

| The Year in Review Movie was so long this year and the file was so large that Kelly couldn't get it to transfer to a disc or convert it to a movie file. When they tried to get it onto Russ's laptop ... that didn't work either. SO .... they tore apart the home computer (tower and all) and hauled it into town. Kelly spent THREE DAYS making that movie and she was going to show it one way or another!!! |
